  • Meaning and history 1919 — 1921 The initial badge of Valencia Football Club featured a circular shape, with the light brown ball with thin black stitches as a background, a striped yellow and red rhombus one the center, an ornate crown above it, and a delicate black “CV” monogram, with the letters placed on the sides from the rhombus.
  • 1921 — 1941 Only two years later, in 1921, the team adopted a new logo, which looked very much like the current one.
  • There was a shield with a football over red and yellow stripes.
  • On the top of the shield, there was a blue line with the white text “Valencia CF.” Above it, you could see a bat with its wings spread.

  • Font and color The “Valencia F.C.” wordmark from the upper part of the club’s crest, is executed in the uppercase of a bold traditional sans-serif typeface, which looks pretty similar to Europa Grotesk SB Med, Swiss 721 Hebrew Std Hebrew Bold, or Newhouse DT Bold.
  • As for the color palette, the main shades of the logo are yellow and red, the colors of the Spanish national flag, the colors of passion and energy.
