Chicago Fire logo and symbol, meaning, history, PNG
- The club, coached by Raphael Wicky and managed by Joe Mansueto, started to play in Major League Soccer in 2002 and has several big wins in its history.
- 1998 — 2019 The logo, created in 1998, was composed of a stylized fire department badge, where the solid gray circle was placed between four blue and red petals with waving edges.
- Inside the circle, there was a bold red letter “C” executed in a custom sans-serif typeface with a pointed spike coming out of the middle of its vertical bar.
- The outline of the circle was white and featured six spikes, which were balanced long the one on the letter “C”.
- On the upper petal, the “Chicago” in capitals was arched, and on the bottom one — “Fire” in gray color, the same that was used for the circle in the middle.
- 2019 — Today The redesign of 2019 brought a new shape and a stronger character to the Fire FC visual identity.
- In the middle of the badge, there is a red and orange image of two mirrored crowns, which are composed of three triangles in different heights.
- The crowns resemble flame and got nicknamed “The Fire Crowns”.
- The wordmark of the club is placed around the outline perimeter, with “Chicago” on the top part, and “Fire FC” on the bottom.
- Both parts of the inscription are written in dark yellow capitals of a strong geometric sans-serif typeface.
- The typeface of the football club’s nameplate is very close to such fonts as Industry Demi and FF Oxide Solid Std Regular.
- The combination of these colors makes the badge remarkable and outstanding, elevating the look and strengthening it.
- Red and yellow here stand not only for fire and flame but also for the power and passion of the team, while the exquisite shade of blue points to their professionalism and reliability.
