Big South Conference Logo
- Download PNG Big South Conference Logo PNG The Big South Conference was established in 1983.
- The teams comprising the conference are located mainly in the South Atlantic region of the US.
- Initially, it was a non-football conference but started sponsoring football in 2002.
- Meaning and history 2003 – 2010 The Big South Conference visual identity created in 2003 featured a light and bright badge with two text lines and a delicate graphical element.
- The inscription was formed by “Bug South” in the uppercase of an italicized and narrowed serif typeface in intense blue color with a thin shadow, and a serif “Conference” with all capital letters in black set with a lot of space between each other.
- The wordmark was “covered” by a thick smooth orange line.
- 2010 – 2013 The redesign of 2010 refined the contours of the badge from 2003 and elevated the color palette of the Big South Conference logo, making all three shades more delightful and friendly.
- The italicized lettering was replaced by a straight and strong one, and the bottom level of the logo got its letters a bit extended in comparison to the inscription from the previous version.
- 2013 – Now Over the last two decades, the Big South Conference logo has gone through two major modifications.
- Interestingly, during all this period, the palette was pretty much the same – orange and blue, with only subtle color shifts.
- On the current logo, which was introduced in 2017, there is the large word “South.” The lettering “Big” can be seen inside the “O.”
